Born in New York City, Barclay Tuck’s passion for boating began in childhood, sailing the East Coast with his father. Those early years on the water sparked a lifelong love of the ocean and yachting that would shape his career.

Before entering the maritime world, Barclay built a successful career in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield in New York, honing his negotiation and client relationship skills. In 2006, he followed his passion to South Beach, Miami, where he immersed himself in the yacht industry. He worked with Allied Richard Bertram’s Platinum Yacht Division and later trained under the mentorship of Merle Wood and Associates, gaining deep expertise in yacht sales, new construction, and chartering.

In 2016, he founded Barclay Tuck Yachts in Miami Beach. As a boutique brokerage, BTY delivers a personalized, client-focused approach to yacht sales, charters, and new builds. Barclay takes pride in truly understanding each client’s needs and providing tailored solutions with integrity and expertise.

An active yachtsman, diver, and global traveler, Barclay draws constant inspiration from his adventures across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Iceland, and beyond. This hands-on experience keeps him closely connected to the latest trends and the real desires of yacht owners.

Today, Barclay continues to lead Barclay Tuck Yachts with the same passion that first drew him to the sea.
